I got a cutting board and some real nice cutting knives for Christmas, thanks to the lovely Fez. This is their first test, my symmetry leaves a little to be desired and some of my lines are a bit wavy and unclean, but I plan on being better so it's ok.

Meredith
I went to Meredith recently, spent some good times with some of my favorite people and drew a few things while I was there.
Holes poked through
Two new drawings from my Moleskine expressing my continued interest in stars, clouds, water and lemurs.

Boy
Breaking from my usual pen work I am attempting to do some pencil and charcoal drawings of boys, It is much easier to capture facial expression and tone in pencil and this makes for some beautiful definition of features. Expect more boys.
Inside mitten fortress
Yesterday I spent an afternoon with Ghostpatrol and Miso inside their mitten fortress studio, I will be working as an artist assistant for them, cutting paper houses, priming linen and doing various other odd jobs. While I was there I drew these three drawings.

Druid.
This is a large drawing I am working on, it is very large so it does not really fit into my scanner.

Lilac Mountians
This is a large piece of about A3 size which I have been working on over the past 2 weeks in preparation for my folio interviews with RMIT and Monash. I am really happy with the amount of colour in this one, I am glad my style is going in a colourful direction.

A bank of cloud.
Cup project and Yen
I am featured in 'The Cup Project', which is an art initiative set up by Amy Graig. Basically, three of my drawings will be featured on select cups in both 1000 £ bend and Horse Baazar, so if you are around that area and hungry for a mocha, then why not ask for your very own unicorns and lungfish collectible cup. On a related note I have also been featured on the Yen magazine website.

Magicer of Wooden Ships
The magicer of ships is a visual tale of how wooden ships come to be and also a sort of homage to Soft Science, because I love his work maybe a bit too much and I think some of his style may have filtered in to this one.

Soft Science, Super Cube and Unicorns and Lungfish combine
Has a drawing date yesterday, hungover from Halloween and carrying a picnic basket full of text books (to move to my new house). It was so nice to get together and draw, I must make this a more regular thing.
This is a exquisite corpse drawing Soft Science, Super Cube and me (in that order top to bottom) did. We did three all together and each took one home.
and this is a collaborative drawing I did with Soft Science. I did the red stuff.

Cat Tattoo
I have been asked to design a tattoo for the lovely Shay, who works at Lady Petrova to go on her arm, an accompaniment to a mix tape and other things. She asked for a cat-girl creature, so I used the pose from a sketch I did a while ago (admittedly very Ghost Patrol inspired)
And drew this^ which i hope is not too Ghost Patrol.
^here are some earlier ramblings.
p.s. on a Ghost patrol related note, I may be working as an artists assistant in Mitten Fortress very soon.

The more deft of the winged
I sold a drawing recently in 'Lady Petrova', the fashion boutique of the talented and Pertrova Hammond. So, building on this success I drew these up today to bring in to her in the hopes of selling more. There is noting like having breakfast paid for by selling some art. So, I do implore you, go and visit Petrova's store in Scotts Alley, just off finders lane (right next to the city library) and look at her lovely dresses and my drawings (not yet, but soon), and buy them so I can eat breakfast once again.
